Short version: we only collect what you send us, we ask before counting your visit, and we never sell anything to anyone.

What we collect, and why
If you send us a message through the contact form, we collect your name, email address and whatever you write in the message. We use it only to answer you.
If you agree to it, we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. It does not tell us who you are.
We ask before any of that starts. Until you choose Accept on the banner at the bottom of the page, nothing is loaded from Google and nothing about your visit is recorded.
What we do not do
We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.
Cookies and embedded content
If you accept analytics, Google sets a cookie on your device so that it can tell a returning visitor from a new one.
We also store your answer itself in a small cookie, so that we do not ask you again every time you open a page. It lasts six months, after which we ask once more.
How long we keep it
State the actual retention period for contact-form messages and any other personal data collected.
Visit statistics are held by Google Analytics for no longer than 14 months, which is the longest that service allows, and are then deleted automatically.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will deal with it.
You can change your mind about analytics whenever you like, using the buttons below. Turning it off stops the tracking immediately and no further visits are recorded.
Children
We do run PADI Junior courses for divers aged 10 and up, which means we sometimes collect a child's name and date of birth as part of a booking. A parent or guardian must provide this information and consent to the booking on the child's behalf.
